About PumpUup
Our Story
I realized something important while building PumpUup.
For a long time, I thought I was creating a photography website. Through months of conversations, photography, and meeting riders and their families, I discovered something much simpler.
Photos are the history.
Every photograph and video preserves a moment that can never be repeated. A rider's first jump, a child's smile, an eagle returning to its nest, or a day on the water with friends all become part of the history of our community.
"PumpUup is different because photographs and videos aren't the destination—they are how we preserve our community's history."
That simple idea now guides everything I do, from meeting families and documenting young riders to organizing galleries and planning for the future.
My goal is to create a lasting community archive that celebrates the people, places, and moments that make the Columbia River Gorge watersports community special.

Current Watersport Season always contains the latest galleries.
All other sections are organized by year. Simply select the year you would like to explore.
Highlights features selected favorite moments from each year.
Season Galleries preserve complete daily coverage and the history of each season.
PumpUup uses SmugMug to host its galleries. The Buy button is a standard SmugMug feature for visitors who would like prints or digital downloads. Purchasing is completely optional and is not the primary purpose of PumpUup.
